my PIC came so soon!!.. good job digikey.. and you didnt charge me $23 dollars of shippiing. talk about actual next day delivery.
robotics trip was kinda wack.. if you really care im sure you can read about it on luke's website www.glebeci.ca or matt's website.. all that matters is that the controller looked custom. we'll have to post pics.. actually, matt..get on that with your new camera!
the PIC stuff is real cool!.. its much smaller than i expected, and i've already thought of lots of prankish things to do with them.. but thats after i figure out the programing.. its assembly (i think).. which is wack. If someone can help me out, then drop a comment.. otherwise i might resort to PicBasic..
i found 5 bucks in the parking lot today!! thats more than glebe robotics has found in a year... owned.
wack, wack, wack!!!!!!

this is going to be quick because i should be working..
so.. i'm pretty far with my crazyfightingrobotofdeath... it theoretically drives, but i have no suitable battery.. the blade still needs to be mounted also. after that im going to have to let matteo play with it so he can customize it (brake it..) and i can spend more time on it...
i finally got around to ordering a PIC programmer and starter kit stuff.. i bought it from DigiKey becaue they are cheeper than Microchip (for a Micorchip product..) who knew.. (they still managed to turn a $50 product into a $75 bill...)
It will probably arrive after i get back from the robotics trip... which is another thing.. we are going to Toronto on wednesday, and we are so unprepaired... its going to be fun!
I'm working on the controller as we speak.. which pretty much entailed ripping off the handle on the joystick and replacing it with a pin-pong ball.. (customized!!) hopefully it will turn out ok, and hopefully i wont die over night from the fumes that this glue is giving out..
over and passed out..

its march break and everyone has gone to cuba. pff... i dont care. i wouldnt want to go to cuba anyway.. well yes i would, but im having a good time making stuff. I got my jam jar jet to work, i think my initial problems were the fuel i was using. (i tried naptha and some alcohol, and it didnt work .) Rona ripped me off big time- 15 bucks for a copper pipe reducer fitting. Im going to have to post a video, because it looks (and sounds) so cool!!!!
Im also thinking of building a mini battlebot.. im going to challenge matt www.mtaylor.be
he's gonna build one too. it should impress the gangstas at school... YO GUY!
