I haven't updated the site in ages.
Partly because i've been too busy with other stuff, and partly because i've lost interest in the site itself. It doesn't look very nice in my opinion, and with facebook and instructables, there isn't much need for it. also there is too much crap like the mp3 player etc... not to mention the comment spam.
I hope to create a new site, which will be flash based but by no means "flashy". It'll be much simpler and cleaner..
and less blog-ish, but still with regular content..
ill probably leave this one up too, and maybe create a page on the new site with all the "junk" collected together
look out for a new instructable from me soon (after a half year hiatus.. ) just in time for xmas.

My iBook started to make weird sounds almost a year ago... I finally got around to buying a new hard drive for it. It used to start up every now and again, but recently it just stopped working completely.
Fixing it was cheaper than i thought it would be, I got a replacement drive from OEM Express, 100$ for 60 gigs..
I figured i could probably install it myself, so i found a really nice guide at ifixit.com. Its a good site, has guides on fixing most apple products including ipods..
fixing it was bloody scary.. lots and lots of screws and delicate cables..
It got done in the end, now i just have to download all the software I lost..

It rips through plywood!
On Friday night I went and saw the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.. The Mars Volta opened for them, and they kinda sucked, but the chilli peppers were awesome..

I'm back to school. luckily I have a pretty nice semester- chem, art, co-op. not bad.
not much "meat" to this so were gonna go with bullets:
- went camping last weekend, sleeping under a tarp kinda show...
- got my shirt from instructbles.. very nice to get a free shirt..
- destroyed stuff with my potato cannon or.. Legume Launcher as i like to call it. Everyone who has tried has got very excited. kinda like its christmas or something...
- started screwing around with a wireless ps2 controller
- microchip sent me a replacement programmer dongle.. it took a while, but at least i got it.
- making a clear case for a hard drive.. i really dont know why other than i want to see it spin..
- making an oscilloscope from a computa..
Google has added a flickresque thing to their arsenal of internet domination... "Picasa Web Albums" pretty handy really if all your photos are being sorted by picasa. I would suggest you check it out, although its still in "test" stage at the moment..
It gives me the choice to embed it ito my site... so i did.
